.Mirage 2000D is the two-seat ground attack version of the famous multi-role fighter of the French Dassault entered in service around the mid ‘90s. Designed and developed around the delta wing lay-out, typical of the Dassault production, Mirage 2000 is able to overcome, thanks to the M53 engine thrust with afterburner, the speed of mach 2. The elegant shape of the delta wing also provides exceptional maneuverability at high speeds. Furthermore the maneuverability is improved thanks to "fly by wire" command system and a very advanced on board electronic constantly evolved and updated. The armament of the Mirage 2000D is, in addition to the 2 DEFA 30mm cannons, formed by air-air missiles for self-defense, conventional bombs, air-ground missiles and laser-guided bombs for precision strikes.
