This big helicopter is equipped with a number of sophisticated all-weather and night navigation systems, which enable the chopper to elusively operate behind enemy lines to recover shot-down pilots or accompany commando units into enemy territory. During the Gulf conflict of 1991, these helicopters successfully carried out missions in Iraqi territory, notwithstanding adverse conditions and fierce defence efforts by the enemy.
